Long before circularity became a
serious topic in business environments, Euro Pool System (EPS) and La Palette Rouge (LPR) were founded to offer
just that: providers of circular alternatives for single use cardboard packing or single use pallets in European supply chains.

INTRODUCTION: GERJO SCHERINGA
Today our reusable packaging and pooling solutions set the standard in more than 30 countries, helping customers to highly reduce their carbon footprint and hereby contributing to the transition to a circular economy.
This magazine is our ‘Circular’ about our joint journey towards a circular economy. A journey that started
in 1992 with the foundation of our two divisions,
and gained further momentum in 2017, when we developed and embedded a new sustainable strategy in our organisation. Our main goal: to reduce our carbon footprint by 20% per movement in 2025, compared to 2017.
Realising this ambition is not something we can do on our own. If we want to ‘maximise circular value’
we need to collaborate closely with our customers, partners and stakeholders across the supply chain. And moreover: we need your support and engagement. Being in the centre of our daily operation, you are the key to reaching our goals.
With Circular magazine we want to keep you informed about our circular challenges and successes and inspire you to make your own effort to our circular mission!
Enjoy reading this first issue.
